If the shape or size of the nipple or areola is perceived as unattractive, a corrective procedure can offer a solution.
We distinguish the following types of treatment:
- In an areola reduction, part of the pigmented skin around the nipple is removed;
- In case of a nipple reduction, a bit of skin on the nipple is removed by means of a special incision.
